Its rare to meet a true ambassador of the Alaskan Malamute, I was lucky to have done such a thing, Timber was owned and loved by good friends of ours  Sharon & Mark Loades of the Snowolf Kennels,  Timber was a real character, known by all UK malamute owners who are involved in the dog showing scene, for close friends of the family who knew Timber personally his journey to the rainbow bridge has caused much heartache,

This is Timber at 10 1/2 years of age an outstanding example of the breed.

Timber was a real mover and would put younger dogs to shame with his powerful movement and drive.

Timber was the father of our Bailey, Timber Jr, and Savannah,

On a more personal note,  remembering times spent with Timber always brings a smile to my face, he was such a cheeky boy, always had a mischeivious look on his face.  I have many stories of the things he did that makes me giggle, the time he stole my dogs meals out of my van when I stayed at Sharon and Marks home, where he casually walked passed me with a look in his eye to say Hmmm you have to get up earlier in the morning to hide food from me Maureen, there are many more stories about him I could tell, but I won't, I will sit and think about them  at quiet times, and smile knowing that these are times that were shared between Timber and myself.  although Timber was not my dog I felt as though he was, he was part of my life and the life of my family, and we are all devastated by him leaving,

Good bye Sweet,Cheeky Timber, you will always be missed by our family and the Icescape pack.
