When Willow came into our lives from Sharon and Mark Loades of the Snowolf Kennels, she was like a breath of fresh air, she is cute, cheeky,funny, quirky, loveable. and we all adore her, from day one Bailey our Male was besotted by her, and they are inseparable, never more than a few feet apart, she has all the malamute traits that made us fall in love with this breed, she is very loyal to us, affectionate to all, loves strangers as well as friends, (even more so if they have a treat for her), she gets along fine with our family cat, and I have found out recently she likes to chase chickens, something I will remember in the future.

Willow has had a very promising show career, having won many first places at both Open and Championship shows, not forgetting Best opposite Sex/Best Bitch at Crufts 2004, judged by Mr. S. Luxmoore.

Willow also does well working in harness, 2003/04 was her first year doing this, and she has shown real potential, although in the early days she was a little uncertain, now she gets into her harness with great enthusiasm, and puts all her heart and soul into it, working alongside Bailey our male, she is always willing to do her best, Willow obtained 4th malamute bitch in the working mal of the year, run by The Alaskan Malamute Club of the UK.
